You will receive a leaflet with each medication.
This leaflet provides detailed instructions on how to handle the specific medication.
General Guidelines
- Keep all medication out of reach of children.
 - Store your medication in a cool, dry place.
 - The medicine cabinet is often located in the bathroom, which is actually not suitable for medication. A kitchen cabinet or refrigerator is a better choice.

Side Effects
- Medication sometimes comes with unwanted side effects. These side effects are usually listed in the leaflet.
 - If you experience severe side effects, or encounter side effects not listed in the leaflet, consult the prescribing doctor.

Pay Attention to the Expiration Date
- Never use medication after the expiration date.
 - Do not simply throw them away; instead, return them to the pharmacy.

Use the Medication Only for Its Intended Purpose
- Medication is specially developed to treat a specific complaint. Using it for a different complaint than what is indicated in the leaflet can have adverse effects.

Do Not Share Medication
- A prescribed medication for one person should not be used by another person.

Travel and Medication
- Special laws and regulations apply to medication when traveling. See travel advice for more information.

Home Pharmacy
- It is advisable for every household to keep a basic stock of self-medication.
